An Italian variety that is known for its tender stalks and mild flavor. A reliable, multi-cut variety which produces a compact, 7.5-10 cm (3-4") bluish-green central head followed by a prolific set of side shoot spears. Harvest main head when 7.5 cm (3") in diameter to encourage side shoot growth. Good for steaming, stir fries and freezing.
