Perennial. Ideally, start seeds in flats in the early spring. Transplant to pots or trays after the plant develops true leaves and in the garden in the late spring to mid summer (6 weeks or so after seeding). Space plantsĀ 12ā-18ā apart. Seeds can also be direct-sown in theĀ garden in early to mid summer. Tolerates some shade,Ā but full sun is ideal.
