Chicory Sugarloaf Seeds | Northern Seeds
Closely related to endive or radicchio, Sugarloaf is a variety of chicory: a bitter, sweet and crunchy green. It is delicious raw as a salad (think blue cheese dressing), or sliced lengthwise and roasted (my favorite).
+/- 250 Seeds
Certified organic by Quebec Vrai
Growing recommendations
Seed in June or early July for a late summer or fall harvest. Seeds can be direct seeded or transplanted. Plan on 85-90 days to maturity for direct seeded chicory. Holds exceptionally well in the field and in storage.
