Stim-Root, like other rooting hormones, does not create roots; instead, it enhances the plant's natural ability to develop roots. It does this by supplying plant hormones at the rooting site, which helps initiate root growth.

For medium cuttings, it is recommended to use Stim-Root #2, which contains 0.4% Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA). Stim-Root #2 has been shown to effectively aid in the rooting of semi-hardwood cuttings, such as summer-flowering shrubs and woody houseplants like Hoya. A semi-hardwood cutting is characterized as a cutting that requires secateurs or pruners for cutting and has not yet developed bark.

Ideal for rooting semi-hardwood plants, and easy to propagate evergreens such as Berberis, Briar, Euonymus, Clematis, Cydonia, Currant, Spiraea, Gooseberry, Dogwood, Rubber Plant, and Viburnum.

Directions

1. Dip lower 1 cm of cutting into STIM-ROOT.
2. Tap to remove surplus powder.
3. Plant into rooting medium
