Stim-Root, like other rooting hormones, does not directly cause roots to grow; instead, it enhances the plant's natural ability to produce roots. This enhancement is achieved by supplying plant hormones at the rooting site, which helps initiate root development.

For harder or woodier cuttings, use Stim-Root #3, which contains 0.8% Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA). Stim-Root #3 is specifically formulated to promote quick root establishment in hardwood plants. This rooting hormone is ideal for propagating hardwood plants and other difficult-to-root species, including evergreens and dormant leafless cuttings.

Recommended plants include Azalea, Boxwood, Camellia, Apple (Malus), Daphne, Juniper, Holly, Lilac, Taxus, Yew, Wisteria, and Privet. 

Directions

1. Dip the lower 1 cm of the cutting into Stim-Root.
2. Tap the cutting to remove any excess powder.
3. Plant the cutting into a rooting medium.
